Starting a Business

Commissioned by the University of Manchester, Partnership WTP has drawn on it’s vast knowledge and experience in business start up to develop a bespoke 2 day workshop providing wide-ranging information and guidance to participants on starting a business.

Working with The University of Manchester, Partnership WTP have used their extensive experience of new business start up to develop a 2 day workshop for University employees. The workshop is aimed at helping the participants to understand the opportunities and challenges of starting a business, thus enabling them to consider it as a viable option for any future career choices.

The workshop provides wide-ranging information and guidance on starting a business, providing participants with the opportunity to consider examples from real life of the successes and pitfalls of being an entrepreneur.

Sessions are delivered in small groups to help participants identify personal opportunities for future businesses, to present approaches for overcoming potential pitfalls, to introduce business control and planning tools and to signpost sources of support and advice.

And the Partnership WTP support doesn't stop there, individuals also have the opportunity to take further advantage of Partnership WTP's expertise through mentoring/guidance sessions post workshop, as people take their ideas forward.
