  • Had overall management responsibility for a project to outsource an IT department contract, of £95m over 7 years, including TUPE transfer of 170 staff. Co-ordinated the negotiations of the legal and commercial contract, due diligence, transition and risk management
  • Recruited and managed a team of 9 project managers who led change initiatives in retailing divisions, responsible for delivering savings worth £10m

Allied Bakeries, Food Manufacturer, UK

  • Created a manufacturing department from the existing production, engineering and technical sections with savings of 7% in costs and increased job variety. Created cross-skilled teams in a multi union environment involving negotiations with local and regional union officials changing terms and conditions of labour force

Lyons Tetley Limited, Food Manufacturer, UK

  • Developed a business strategy to close manufacturing plants, rationalise products and terminate supply contracts - increased profitability by £4m
  • Facilitated Senior Management teams on improvement projects to reduce overhead costs by 10%. Led Sales Forecasting project to improve accuracy from 19% to 12% variation
  • Delivered a new product launch promotion in Canada, worth £1.5m

Anglo American Corporation, Mineral Extraction, South Africa

  • Overall responsibility for the operation of a mines Pyrite extraction facility with 70 staff.
